Fees for Modular Study
The fee for each individual course unit is:
- £695.00 * per 15 credit course unit
- £1650.00 * for the project
The project fee is due when the student starts the first unit associated with the project COMP60990: Research Methods and Professional Skills.
To complete the full MSc, consisting of 90 credits of course units and one project, a total cost of £5,820* will be incurred. This fee is equivalent annually to approximately half the current annual fee for a full-time student when taken over a three year period.
The arrangements for paying fees is dependent on the students registration:
- Students registered for MSc programme will select the course units for the academic year in September of each year and will either pay in September or in instalments over the academic year.
Fees for course units taken as short courses prior to registration will be charged at the rate shown above, however, the University reserve the right to charge a fee to accredit these to the degree if the student registers for the degree programme at a later date.
Fees are reviewed annually. Full details of all fees and charges made to students as well as the estimated cost of staying in Manchester are available from the PEVE secretary.
